Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a rare and severe genetic disease that challenges Adam and his family every single day. But we are not alone in his journey toward healing and a better quality of life – because you are with us. Whether through financial donations, services, volunteer work, or any form of support, every contribution is another step forward for Adam’s chances.
Thank you for believing in Adam and for sharing hope with us. Your support gives him strength, faith, and the opportunity on the path to recovery.
Tibor Pető will cycle a thousand kilometers over the next few weeks across four countries. The purpose of this noble mission is to support the recovery of Ádám Major, who is fighting Duchenne muscular dystrophy, with HUF 3,000 for every kilometer completed. He will share his experiences from the journey with members of the congregation during a church service at the Reformed Church in Besenyőd on August 3, 2025.
The Nagydobrony Reformed Grammar School is organizing a Children’s Day on May 30, to which all children of Transcarpathia and their parents are warmly welcome. All proceeds will support Adam’s recovery.
Young comedians from Stand-UP Budapest are taking the stage at multiple locations across Transcarpathia. The performances feature hilarious everyday stories, recommended for audiences aged 12 and above.
The event is free of charge, but it serves a charitable mission: all donations collected at the venues will be donated in full to the “United for Adam” Foundation
On the morning of April 24th at 7:40 AM, we were featured on Európa Radio. We shared important updates regarding Adam’s condition, his treatments, our fundraising efforts, our relocation, and upcoming charity events.

The Reformed Church Community of Tiszaújfalu supported Adam’s recovery by organizing a charity pizza baking event on March 28-29.
The “United for Adam” Foundation sincerely thanks everyone who supports Adam’s healing and journey toward a happy, fulfilling life through financial, material, or moral contributions.
We are proud to have a strong and united community of supporters behind us – including civil organizations, corporate partners, individuals, charitable organizations, and nonprofit collaborations. Every contribution – whether it’s a fundraising campaign, a charity event, or even a social media share – brings us closer to our goal.
With your help, we can give Adam a chance to fight Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), to maintain his independence for as long as possible, and to grow up in a loving environment.
The equipment, therapies, medical interventions, and development programs necessary for Adam’s treatment and progress represent a significant financial burden. That’s why every donation, contribution, or collaboration provided within the framework of social responsibility is crucial.
Join our network of supporters, be part of a meaningful cause, and help ensure that Ádi’s childhood is defined not by limitations, but by possibilities.
On this page, we would like to publicly express our gratitude to all our foundation partners, corporate sponsors, and everyone who stands by us every day, even if their names are not mentioned.
We thank our supporters for their exemplary attitude and generosity.
